Dear parents, caregivers and students!

We are delighted to let you know that My Home Chef ® received an important recognition :

The 2025 Diversity and Inclusion Selwyn Award!

If you are already or not familiar with the investment and dedication of our team and the nature of the unique My Home Chef initiative, which started a few years ago,  now you can see how My Home Chef solely focuses on providing cooking classes to young adults with neurodiversity and disability, enabling and empowering them to reach further and become more independent.

This important award acknowledges the hard work, dedication and commitment we have to our community,  and the impact we are having on the lives of our talented students and their whanau.

My Home Chef competed against 19 other bright groups and businesses in the Diversity and Inclusion category, and proved that our initiative is valued, important, and recognised as having a meaningful impact.

We could not have done it without you all!

We would like to thank all of you - parents, caregivers, family members, support workers, students- and future students for supporting My Home Chef, for coming to learn and for empowering your special young adults to grow, flourish and enjoy the classes!

We would also like to thank our special team of amazing dedicated teachers: Amanda, Gabriela, Jonina, Leanne and Stephanie !

My Home Chef would not have been what it is today without our team of teachers!

Each one brings value and talent, and together we create our own little diverse and inclusive environment to empower others.
